Hindmarsh Cemetery

Today my daughter and I wandered through the Hindmarsh cemetery, located not far from home actually and one we pass at least once a week... I wanted to explore this particular cemetery due to the suggestion that it was haunted by a female ghost who wanders along the main path holding a lamp... Now, I'm not so certain ghosts would want to haunt cemeteries, sure, it's where their physical remains are buried but aren't ghost supposed to haunt where they died or suffered tragically or were so attached to a physical place they can't leave, even in death?
Personally I find cemeteries a peaceful place to visit, and today, even though the Hindmarsh cemetery is so close to South Road whilst in there, the traffic noise didn't bother us, in fact, it wasn't until I viewed the video I took that I realized how noisy the cemetery actually was.
As for the ghost? We didn't see or sense her...but if there is indeed a ghost, perhaps she is the guardian of the children and babies buried here, or maybe a guide for wayward spirits?
There were a few head stones my daughter and I were drawn to, I cannot explain why, perhaps a soul/spirit connection? Let's just say it's an interesting question to take away with us from today's visit. :)

The suburb, Hindmarsh was the first town built on private land in South Australian, land once belonging to Sir John Hindmarsh, South Australia's first Govenor, in 1838
The Hindmarsh cemetery was established in either 1839 or 1846, there's some discrepancy. We did find the first burial monument, however and it was dated 1846 (see You Tube video)
Here is an article written about the cemetery

The Register (Adelaide, SA : 1901 - 1929) Wednesday 24 November 1926 p 9 Article ... 'HINDMARSH CEMETERY. ' Since its. establishment about 1839 the Hindmarsh Cemetery has been controlled by a trust. As a result of negotiations between the' trust and the local council, the local council have finalized arrangements to take control of the cemetery. ..
